In Fall 2016, Kate Pocock was awarded a Bronze Photo Award from SATW (Society of American Travel Writers) for a photo of Ms. Geraldine Touesnard Joyce, the goose mistress at Fortress of Louisbourg, a National Historic Site on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
